Kroger Community Rewards FAQ
What is Community Rewards?
Kroger Community Rewards makes fund-raising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do everyday. Once you link your card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Plus Card!
A digital account is needed to participate in Kroger Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, you will need to ensure you have a Plus Card linked to your account. Then, go here to select an organization.
Please note, a Plus Card is required for the Kroger Community Rewards program so that your transactions apply toward the organization you choose.
How do I select an organization to support?
Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the Kroger Community Rewards selection on your digital account.
- Sign in to your digital account.
- Go here to search for your organization
- Enter the name or NPO number of the organization that you wish to support.
- Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save.”
- Your selected organization will now display in the Kroger Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always find these details under your Account details.
Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program. It takes approximately 10 days for the Kroger Community Rewards total to begin displaying on your receipt.
How do I view my Kroger Community Rewards details?
Wondering how much you’ve earned toward your selected organization? You can view the total you earned during the last quarter in your account details.
How do I ensure that my transactions are applied to the program?
You must present your Shopper’s Card or provide your Alternate ID at the register during the transaction in order for it to count toward the program.
After I enroll my Kroger Plus Card with an organization, how long before my purchases start counting towards the rewards?
Your purchases will begin earning rewards for your designated organization within 7 to 10 business days of registering your Kroger Plus Card online within any term.
Will enrolling affect other programs I am enrolled in? Fuel points, Free Friday Download coupons?
Enrolling in Kroger Community Rewards does not affect any other Kroger Plus programs.
How do I know if my Kroger Plus Card is enrolled?
Within 7 to 10 business days of successfully enrolling your Kroger Plus Card, check www.kroger.com under the My Account heading to verify enrollment.
Does everything in my shopping cart count towards my donation to my organization?
Supporters can earn rewards on almost anything, every time they shop. However there are specific purchases that cannot be included: Alcohol, Tobacco, Government Assisted Pharmacy Expenses,Postage Stamps, Kroger Co. Family of Stores Gift Cards, Green Dot Prepaid Reloadable Products, MoneyPaks, 1-2-3 Rewards Reloadable Visa PrePaid DebitCard, ReCharge Cards, American Express Variable Load Gift Cards, Visa Variable Load Gift Cards, MasterCard Variable Load Gift Cards, Bottle Deposits, Lottery and Promotional tickets, Money Orders, Western Union, Fuel and, Sales Tax are excluded from eligible purchases. Eligible pharmacy purchases include out of pocket co-pays for non-government assisted pharmacy programs.
Can I give to more than one organization?
No. Your Kroger Plus Card can be linked to only one organization at a time. However,you may change your nonprofit organization designation Kroger Plus Card online by going to www.krogercommunityrewards.com
Can the organization administrator register the Kroger Plus Cards for everyone in his/her group?
