Our Strategic Plan for 2022 – 2025

Conyers Rockdale Council for the Arts commits to:

Strategic Goal #1:  Establish and project a strong, clear, and consistently expressed organizational brand and identity within Conyers and Rockdale County.
Why and to what end?  CRCA recognizes that we cannot serve our community to the best of our ability and fulfill our mission of connecting neighbors, cultivating artistic expression, and celebrating our community’s stories if we are not communicating clearly and effectively with our constituency about the programs we offer and the value we bring to Conyers and Rockdale County.  To establish ourselves as central to life in this community, we need to strengthen the clarity and purpose with which we communicate.
Strategic Goal #2:  Infuse Conyers and Rockdale County with the arts and cultural activity, giving priority to programs serving families and citizens with disabilities, and programs celebrating the African-American heritage of our community.
Why and to what end?  CRCA believes that the presence and vitality of arts and cultural activity have the ability to strengthen our community and improve the lives of those who live and work here.  Additionally, as part of fulfilling our mission, we believe it is vital to ensure that all stories within our community are told and that those who have been too often excluded from the heart of the community’s cultural life are given opportunities and voice.
Strategic Goal #3:  Increase CRCA’s organizational stability and sustainability by expanding and strengthening human and financial resources.
Why and to what end?  CRCA recognizes that in order to fulfill our mission and have a lasting and positive impact on our city and county, we need to have the financial resources that allow programmatic sustainability, the ability to take measured risks, and financial solvency through “ups and downs.”  Likewise, we need human resources through our board, staff, and volunteer base that will allow us to develop those financial resources, as well as to manage and govern our organization with efficacy and efficiency.
