Into the Woods is Stephen Sondheim’s modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales in a musical format that follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel. All the tales are tied together by the baker and his wife who wish to start a family but are thwarted by the witch next door, who has put a spell on them.
