Inspiration Theater Presents Motherhood Out Loud Auditions

AUDITION NOTICE
CRCA Inspiration Theater is excited to announce auditions for Motherhood Out Loud, conceived by Susan R. Rose and Joan Stein, and directed by Kathy Pacheco. Join us for an evening of creativity and storytelling as we bring this powerful play to life.
Audition Details:
Submit Video Audtion by March 18, 2026
Prepare:
– A 2-minute monologue (drama or comedy)
– A resume and photo if available; these items are not mandatory.
– A brief personal story or lighthearted fact about your mother or a mother figure in your life. It could be a meaningful piece of advice you received (or now pass on to your own children), a funny or touching memory, or a short parenting moment if you’re a mother yourself. Keep it short — it can be humorous, heartfelt, dramatic, or inspiring. The story is yours to share.
About the Play:
Motherhood Out Loud is a heartfelt and humorous exploration of parenting and the myriad of experiences tied to motherhood. Through a series of monologues, the play captures the essence of parenting, showcasing its challenges, joys, and triumphs from diverse perspectives.
About the Director:
Director Kathy Pacheco was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and recently relocated to Georgia. From an early age, she developed a deep love for the arts. Since 2009, Kathy has performed in numerous productions throughout the Lehigh Valley, and since 2015 she has also been active in the Philadelphia theater scene.
Her directing credits include The Vagina Monologues, Our Lady of the Tortilla, Cabaret, and several other productions. In addition to her theater work, Kathy was a burlesque performer and the former producer of the only all plus size burlesque troupe on the East Coast, The SnaccTime Revue, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Kathy is thrilled to begin her theater journey in Georgia and looks forward to directing Motherhood Out Loud.

Saturday May 9th – 3pm
Sunday May 10th – 3pm
Casting Call:
We are seeking 5 women and 2 men of all ages to audition. Whether you’re an experienced actor or new to the stage, we encourage you to come out and audition.

ABOUT INSPIRATION THEATER AT CRCA
Inspiration Theater began in 2023 with the goal of creating theatrical performances that combine art, community outreach, and education to inspire awareness, discourse, and positive social change.
CRCA partners with local non-profits to share community resources and participate in post-show discussions that include the cast and director. Productions are selected to highlight current social issues and foster meaningful conversation.
